We are trying to settle into a routine with distance learning. Silas is busy most of the day between Zoom classes and homework, while Steve and I are trying to find time to work. Poor Daphne gets the short end of the stick, yet again. I signed up for Mother Goose for the whole year, I just really need to find time to do the activities with her. I wanted to find a time that I can do the crafts with both of them, I really want to make sure Silas has enough free play time and isn't scheduled every minute of the day.
So all the playgrounds are still technically closed, but we ended up at Hillltop park a couple weeks back and were the only family there. The caution tape around the park had been torn down, so the kids immediately started to play. I told them that as long as we were the only family at the park, we could play. They had SO much fun. It made my heart happy to see them enjoy themselves as much as they did. Espeicially Daphne. These poor kids have put up with so much and they keep on going. They truely are amazing.
