Well, life goes on and the kids are now both back in school. Daphne is in the 4 year old class at Eagles Nest and Silas in in first grade. They were both a little nervous on their first days, but did great! They are now very into the school routine and are both excited about and love going to school. I'm so glad they get to be back in the classroom for more "normal" days this year. It's also very nice for Steve and I to have more time during the day just to focus on work.
My Dad is trying his best to get settled into Park Plaza, some days are better than others. Some days he seems to be doing really well, enjoying the activities, food and other residents there. Other days he gets very confused and agitated by things. I know it's hard for him since he has never lived alone before, so I'm hoping he'll be able to work toward creating a stable rouinte there that will work for him.
We were at the house today working through more of the stuff. I'm so fortunate that Steve was able to help. We are slowly making progress and started talking to an agent about selling. I still think of the last time we were there to visit with my mom. It was such a normal visit, I had no idea that would be the last time we would see her....
