 This year is harder in some ways, but knowing Jasper has Grammy in heaven with him brings some comfort.  She loved Silas and Daphne so much, I'm so glad she has a granbaby in heaven with her. 

Things have been moving a long, the last few weeks have been a blur.  We're on track to get Dad moved into Park Plaza on Monday. I know he's having a hard time with the transition, so I really hope things go well on Monday.  It has been a very stressful time, I really want to get him settled somewhere he is comfortable and safe. 

June 11, 1941 - August 9, 2021

 

This week has been a blur.  I still can't believe she's gone.  I keep reliving the moment the police called me thinking it must have been a dream.  Being at the house, I kept expecting to hear her come around the corner.  Even Wednesday, I looked for her e-mail.  

It has been a lot driving back and forth to Orange this week, trying to find a place for Dad, clearing out all Mom's clutter and being away from Silas and Daphne.  Fortunately, I was able to take off work this week but am back to work next week.  Hoping for a clearer path ahead..
