Big Boy Toy!

Silas is fitting well in the exersaucer, and seems to be enjoying it.

He looks so grown up when he is "standing" in it and playing.

Roly Poly

The last few days, Silas has been very eager to practice rolling onto his tummy.  He doesn't stay on his back long before rolling over, and he's getting pretty good at it!

Silas still has trouble rolling from his tummy to his back. He has done it twice on his own, but most of the time seems to get stuck and I'll help him over.  He'll get there, I'm sure he'll be rolling across the floor in no time.  

Morning at the park

Steve's parents left yesterday and Steve went back to work today, so we were back to our more usual schedule.

It was such a nice day today, we went to the park this morning to get some fresh air.

Visit from Grandma and Grandpa Tam

Steve's parents visited last week from Hawaii.  They enjoyed meeting Silas and getting to spend some time with him.  Steve also took off of work for the week, so Silas got lots of extra attention.

Silas loves to "fly" and play airplane.  He likes to look around at everything from the different perspective.

Good Morning!!

Silas is so happy and smiley in the mornings as soon as he wakes up.

He loves to kick up his legs, and roll around on his back making little grunts, coos and squeaks.

It makes it easy to get out of bed in the morning knowing I will be greeted by this bright smiley face.











He has actually been sleeping really well recently.  Last night was the second night in a row he only woke up once.  I do his last feeding and put him down about 8 pm, he slept until 3:30 am for another feeding, and then woke up for the day at 7:15 am.   If I'm lucky he'll sleep until 8 am, but I'm happy with anything after 7 am.

The First Three Months

I can't believe our little guy is 3 months old already!  He is getting so big.

10 days old versus 3 months 4 days old

He is already double his birth weight, he is grabbing at things, he can roll over (he did it once!), and he is smiling a lot.
