Ruby!!

 We got a dog!!  It was surprisingly hard to find a dog from a rescue that was OK with small kids and a cat, but the Monday after Christmas we brought home Ruby.  She's two years old, super sweet, but lots of puppy behavior problems.   Silas really likes her, but Daphne gets a little scared sometimes.  We didn't realize how big Ruby is, we thought she was about 40 lbs but she is a 65 lb lap dog who likes to lick and jump on people when excited.... another one of her behaviors we are working.  

She is starting to do better... or maybe we are getting better at managing her.  I do think she would benefit from doggy play dates, but need to figure out how to work that and be COVID safe.  She's pretty scared and still won't go in the car, so the dog park would be a challenge.
