The kids were off school last week for Spring Break, so we decided to take our first vacation since before COVID. We rented a cabin in Big Bear, and stayed there a few days. We took both dogs as well, so it was a lot, but was also really nice to get away. Ruby did well, all things considered. She was very nervous in the car, but really liked exploring everything new around Big Bear. Both dogs really liked the lake.
We came back on Wednesday and then had some time to relax at home the rest of the week. We used our new fire pit to make smores and went to see the butterfly exhibit at the gardens in PV.
