This post is late, but we hosted our first party at the house for Daphne's birthday! Everything actually turned out really well. We got a jumper in the front yard that just barely fit and we had a face painter. Daphne only wanted to invite a handful of kids, which was fine with me! I definitely couldn't do the parties for the whole class.
In hindsight, I think the only thing I would change is just to get a store bought cake. The cake was beautiful, but I don't think the kids really appreciated it. For the price, I shoud have just bought a store bought cake a Moana little figurines to put on top that she could have kept and played with.
