Santa was very good to us again this year. We had a relaxing Christmas at home. The kids loved their presents and it was great to spend extra time together. My brother visited last week, so he and my Dad came to dinner last Friday.
Silas got a skateboard and learned a lot just today. He also got a Hot Wheels track, a fort builder kit, NFL jersey's and some NFL Teeny Mates characters. Daphne got some appliances for her kitchen, a stuffed narwal, an animal playset from Lakeshore and some dresses. She also got rollar skates from Aunt Michelle, so she and Silas can be skating buddies. It was nice being able to just be home today, but I definitely miss having my mom around this Christmas. She loved the magic of Christmas and seeing the kids get so excited. I hope she's watching from heaven.
